Schematic are the only company in Natal that have the facility to provide a design, fabrication and installation service in both thermoplastic and fibre glass piping systems.
Schematic, formed in 1984 with founder members Tim Postlethwaite and Willie Bendoris, both of whom have extensive experience in thermoplastics.
In September 1988, Mal Florence, considered to be one of the country"s leading experts in fibreglass and thermoplastics joined in Schematic. As Technical Director he brings 7 years valuable experience gained at A.E.C.I. into the company.

Durban South Beach Padding Pools -
GRP Lining Of Fountain.
The factory is conveniently located in Jacobs, Durban and consists of 2000 square metres of fabrication area. All operations are completed under strict quality control procedures. The lifting capacity is 5 tonnes. The 5 installation teams operate throughout the Republic on both new installations and maintenance contracts.

A demineralized water tank for AECI'S peroxide plant. Completed in 4 weeks,
with a capacity of 90 cubic meters.

Main shell assembly of a 2m diameter emergency absorber.
This was manufactured in 18 days for an emergency plant breakdown in Sasolburg.

Amanzimtoti municipality
commissioned this emergency river crossing project during the Natal floods
in 1987. Two 400m HDPE lines and one 160mm diameter line were laid for both fresh water and effluent.
 

A turkey polyprop project for SAB effluent treatment plant. The steel support system and steel piping were also installed by Schematic,
as were all components
eg. valves, pumps and heat exhangers.
